Hello, a while ago I tried adding effects to an object (a waterfall to a hot tub) and I was successful at adding the effect, though I could not get the effect to scale as it should so I ended up modeling the item around the effect. Then I noticed some of the CC I had also had effects that did not 'fit'--like an aquarium whose bubbler went above the waterline.
My point is, are we not able to scale effects anymore? Am I doing something wrong? All I did was go to warehouse -> rig -> bones -> FX:Position and edit the 'scale'. No matter what I did, nothing changed.
(btw, this may be the wrong place for this thread. Please let me know if there's a better place to post this. thanks)

hi! were you able to scale them at any point in time? I don't think that was ever possible to start with. they don't even scale when resizing objects in game.

Hi DreamDove, It was the pre-EP04 (aka C&D aka Pets) patch that broke the ability to scale the game's effects. I was absolutely crushed when they did it, as I used to Love playing around with the amazing list of effects that andrew graciously keeps up-to-date for us. I now recall exactly which patch did it, as I had *just* released tabletop versions of the various aquariums, and had to re-make them all after that patch as I had relied heavily on scaling the many aquarium FX. [sad face] (heavy sigh) So much fun swirled right down the drain... Cheers.

Well, I guess I'll have to try another route to get my projects going or try doing something else entirely. I wonder if this is something we could petition at the modding forums for them to bring back x.x
Thank you for the confirmation. Love your CC.
