I *think* you're missing some resources in the package so you get the weird question mark texture. Basically, when you clone objects or CAS parts, it reuses the original resources (i.e mesh, texture etc) until it is replaced by the user. I'm not exactly sure how you got that texture on just one swatch, but I recommending trying and re cloning it and trying to import the textures again.
I could be completely wrong so if I am, anyone reading this please correct me haha.

I cannot see the pictures but it could be an issue with the image dimensions from what you are describing. If the texture is replaced by a red and white pattern with question marks then there are textures missing. If the texture is replaced by a green-red texture with question marks then the texture is the wrong dimesions.

Usually that question mark texture means your texture is sized wrong. The textures must have dimensions that are multiples of 2. So, for example, 256 x 512 or 512 x 1024. If it's off by even one pixel (like 257 x 512) you will get that question mark.
If you share your .package, someone here can take a look and let you know the exact issue.

It was 256 x 511. Cheers
