Hello, i was wondering if it was possible, if i have a skin muscles texture/overlay thats maxis match is it possible to smooth out the muscle definition in the skin i mean fade the muscles except in certain parts of the body?

well, all i can tell you is that you have to edit the texture you want to edit at your taste in an image editor then import it in studio and make it skin detail. or maybe you need help to edit? then i can help you, i'm not a pro but i can still make things.

i use gimp to make textures, so maybe the photoshop blur tool is different, but i know it doesn't look good to fade something. in my case, to fade something i use the brush tool to draw colors of different shades matching the original pic over the said pic then fade it with the finger tool. but because i'm bad at explaining, you can send me the texture you want to edit and tell me what you want to change? (in private message if you want to)
