Hi everyone! The project I'm working on is really quite ambitious considering my limited knowledge of how to create CAS items--a frankenmesh involving six different meshes (did I mention this is my first CAS frankenmesh?!?!)--and though I've managed to solve a lot of problems by myself thanks to the many helpful threads on this site, this issue has me stumped. Even though the corresponding faces on the UV map are nowhere near the shirt texture, a bit of the shirt texture and a bit of odd gray appear on the right shoulder of the jacket. This only happens in game/CAS, not in Studio or Blender.
Here is the package and the blend file, if you would like to take a look. Thank you so much for reading! Any insights are very much appreciated!

Reading your introduction it looks like I'm just as expierenced as you are. But who knows, maybe I can help. I had a problem with the wrong texture showing up on my mesh because I had several different UV maps. I saw that you have more than one too. In blender in the object data panel on the right, under the UV maps tab, you can see that there are two. Maybe deleting the uv_1 would solve the problem.
But then again maybe not. It is just something I would try during troubleshooting XD
Nevermind, really bad suggestion... XD
I was confused because I had three UV maps

Hi vivid and thanks!
I can try that, but isn't uv_1 an important part of CAS files because it helps dictate how the morphs will work?

i think this can be solved either by edge splitting the edges of the weirdly colored triangle in blender or merging the vertices together... i honestly forget, but it's either one of the solutions.

Hi! I suggest removing doubles on the mesh. Disable limit selection (circled), hover your cursor where the issue is at and press L to select the whole chunk shown in the picture. Remove doubles (underlined).

Thank you, inabadromance! I can't believe it was a simple matter of removing doubles! Sometimes you get so caught up in the details that you forget about the simple things.

hehe no problem! I didn't see any particular issues with the uv so i went straight to the mesh itself. Glad this was what was causing it :D
