Does the new sims4studio allow you to add and remove candle flames? I found this tutorial by orange mittens, but the new version of the editable sims4studio files are different than older versions. Make Multiple Candle FlamesFor example, the lighting tuning data used to create an XML is not easily located in the Data section of the Warehouse entry list. How does one remove/add a candle flame to leave an empty candle stick using the current version of 3.1.2.1 sims4studio.

There is really very little that cannot be accomplished from within S4Studio anymore, as far as coding and such goes... Just so I know, are you referring to removing the flames from the .package that is linked to from that tutorial, or a cloned game candle? Some generic answers - if you change the tuning name & number from the Object Definition to something generic such as object_sculpture & 14961, in most cases you should end up with a flame-less candle. One would need/want to remove the light source itself from the Light data in Warehouse. There are a few, rare exceptions where by simply doing the two above things would not yield a simple, un-lit object. One may be that the flame effect is declared somewhere else, but that would be unlikely, as one could not extinguish it then. The other is if the mesh has some sort of 'illumination' data in it under the Model & Model LOD for each swatch, telling the mesh to self-illuminate during a certain time of day. Adding a candle flame, especially a single one, can be as easy as changing the tuning name & number to another candle, then adjusting the _FX_ bone to make it match the one named in the tuning. I hope that all makes a little sense, I have trouble sometimes writing what I am thinking... Cheers.

I am seeking to learn how to locate the tuning to reduce the flame count. Or, how to locate the tuning period to change the flame count.
