I wanted to make bear ears. I started with a bracelet on the left wrist and made a new mesh and placed it on top of the head. Everything looked pretty good while the model was just T posing, but then when I tested it in game, they started moving based on the left arm's movement. I've seen custom content that takes up similar slots, like rings, being placed on the head, and it doesn't move away from the head when a sim wears it, but my sim's bear ears just kept moving around. Is there something that I did wrong?

Hi there! It sounds like you need to transfer all the weights to head. I think your best bet to do this simply is to do a weight transfer from a hat. Follow this tut. It won't hurt to also do a uv_1 transfer, here is a tut. Any more questions, let me know! |
