I did a patch fix for my cc hairs (in separate folder) but whenever I go to click play the sims 4 it says that my game files are corrupted or something of that sort so I was wondering what I was doing wrong.

There isn`t a new patch fix yet, but in S4S you go on Content Management/batch fixes/CAS/allow cc for random, then it comes up with a separate window saying "allow cc for random" (without the quotations)then press run.

prudence25 this batch fix won't work for some hairs for unknown reason. EA is working on the patch that should fix the problem with CC hair.

HELP!! So I had downloaded the patch updated my mods like Basemental drugs ect... but my hair Colours wouldn’t work like many people and I googled how to fix it and it recommended sims4 studio so I downloaded it and didn’t know how to use it and it’s the cats and dogs one but I clicked batch fixes-CAS-fix cats and dogs patch glass hair?? I don’t know but I did it and I thought it would fix something anything really and then I loaded my game back up my sims are all bald and I only have like 8 cc hairs and none of them work they are all just retextures not the mesh so I was wondering if someone could tell me where all my cc went and how to get it all back. I’m desperate thank you 💗

Hey all, a couple of things:
1. Sims 4 Studio will not change your game files. It only works on CC files in the folder you point it at. If you are receiving a message that says your game files are corrupt, you should run Origin's repair game feature.
2. Studio's "Allow for random" batch fix will fix some adult CC hairs. It does not seem to work on toddler hairs. It is, at best, a workaround that you will want to reverse later on when EA patches in a fix for the bug introduced in the Get Famous patch. The latest news from them is that they have a fix they are testing and want to get it out as soon as they can. For these reasons, I recommend holding off on batch fixing hairs that won't change color in CAS.
3. If you have run a Sims 4 Studio batch fix (no matter which one you ran) and you do not like the result, you can reverse the batch fix by copying the content of the related backup folder into your Sims 4/Mods folder. This will overwrite the fixed files with the original unfixed version. You can find the related backup folder in your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder. The files will be inside a folder that is named with the batch fix you ran.
4. When you run a batch fix, you need to be sure you are running a batch fix compatible with your game version. Make sure your game is fully patched before running any batch fix.
