Hi, can anyone tell me if it is possible to change arm/hand positions for tops, to adjust it to big clothes? I actually sort of accidentally did it (though assymentrically) when I had trouble with a mesh, so I feel it should be possible.
To describe what I mean further: I have a top with puffy sleeves that are currently clipping through the torso. Some Maxis meshes have big sleeves/big torso and for those meshe the arms are positioned a little wider around the body, so the arms don't go through it.
Also on a side note, I was wondering wether there is a term for this, cause I found it kind of hard to search for it, because I did not know what to call the problem.

There seems to be a correlation between weight groups for ( i assume ) thighs and hands. It is most definitely not uv_1 map, bc this bear costume has none. The only reasonable solution to me seems to just adjust the width and position of sleeves with arms down ( explained here, 1-8 to pose, 22-24 to reset ).

Hi vividI believe you need to edit the slot rays to adjust the position of the bones you want. Never really looked into it though or to be more precise I failed, a while ago. Don't think there is a tutorial about that editing them. I would advise to clone EA meshes which have it and one without to try and find where the change is. You can also look at this documentation for a beginning of understanding about slot rays.
