Hi!
I'm all new to making custom content with Sims 4 Studio. I want to edit a mesh, but when i click "export mesh" i get an error message, saying Sims 4 Studio can't find Blender. I have Blender installed, but do I need it in a particular folder, or do I need a plugin or something?
Thanks

You don't need a plugin. Just Blender, either 2.70 or 2.76 version and provide correct path in Studio settings. If after providing the path you still get the same message, close Studio and run again.

I'm completely new to Sims 4 Studio as well and I'm facing the exact same problem. (I have a mac) I've already tried deleting and re-installing S4S and Blender, Install an older version of blender and I as well removed blender from the folder and put it into the application folder. I basically tried everything I could find. This website is so confusing I couldn't find where I can post it as an individual question which is why I had to ask it under someone elses post.

Hi, i have tried all the suggestions for exporting the mesh but when i try to change the path it says an error has occured ... how do i fix this ( im on microsoft , windows) 1). Add s4s, both exe file and the folder, to exceptions in your antivirus (if you dont have a third-party one, in windows defender); 2), run s4s as admin 3). make sure you are using 2.76 and that all paths look like this

I am very sorry that I ask a question under someone else's question, but maybe at least I can find the answer here. I downloaded an old version of Blender, but the game pops up a window. They offer to download the same old version of blender. I download, write the path to the blender, but this window still pops up and does not allow me to export the mesh.

Did you set the blender path in s4s settings to the installation folder of blender 2.76 (like in a pic above)? 2). Did you close s4s and open it again? 3). Where is you s4s and blender installed? On the c drive?
