I'm currently making a bar table. I removed 1 dining spot (the latest number), the design only allows 3 people to eat. But the table disappears when placed and gives me an error message, after some digging in the lastexception file I found this which is most likely causing my problem: "KeyError('Unable to find joint b__subroot__3 on object_tableDiningBar_Generic:0x071308f45aad0025[4]')", so I guess the game doesn't like it when I just simply delete a dining spot. When I place the bar and go to manage worlds and then go back to the house the table is there and it works with the intended 3 slots. Going back to buy mode and move the table it doesn't disappear anymore, but it does still gives me an error message. What step am I missing, do I need to set the amount of slots somewhere?

You will need to create a custom tuning based off the original and remove any mention of subroot_3.

That seem to have solved the error, thanks! I made a new tuning with this tutorial: sims4studio.com/thread/1324/make-basic-change-items-tuningAnd then removed this chunk which assigned the 4th dining spot: <U> <T n="part_definition">170334<!--part_Surface_Seat_Tall_NoPortal--></T> <V n="subroot_index" t="enabled"> <T n="enabled">3</T> </V> </U>

1 more question: How do I change the laptop/desktop position? The seem to be fixed on X and Y at 0 and then +1 depending on the direction (they have a 1x1 tile with the device close to the border), they don't seem to be linked to the dining slots.

What about deco slots?

The table has tons of deco slots, but they don't work with the laptop. Computers and laptops seem to have their own slot which I cant figure out. If I more around all the slots the position of the laptop seems to move too, but it's not 0,0,0 centered on the slot position, it seems to have an offset on a dining slot or something.

No, they want to know why the computers they place on their custom table hang off the edge.
I've just compared your table to a game table and it appears you need to move the "shared" slots. On a regular single tile table these slots are in the very centre. You will need to play about with the slot position since your table is narrower than a single tile. I did place the slots in the centre but the keyboard still stuck off the edge so you may need to move it closer to the opposite side.
I'm not sure if you'll want to change the footprint as well so that is is a two tile object that can sit against a wall easily?

Yes! That's the one! Thank you! <3 Now I just need to find the sweet spot :D Yeah I'm still in doubt if I want it 1 or 2 tile, it's basicly 1.5 tile and 2 tiles just feels so big for such a small bar :D
