I opened the String Tables file from Sims4/Data/Client and used the String Table Lookup to find the names of the worlds. I added them all to a package, changed them, and saved the package. This is all I should need to do to edit the world names, but it doesn't work in-game. I tested it by itself and it's not a mod conflict. www.mediafire.com/file/22gjnokibnotwhz/RenamedWorlds.package/fileWhat am I doing wrong? Edit: Del Sol Valley properly changes to "Sunset Valley" in an older save file but not a new one. :v Nothing else changes. |

cervidantidus which language is your game in? The package you posted only has the English text changed. You can use the Tools > Modding > Copy string tables to all languages to apply these changes to the other languages.

It's English, that's why I didn't bother with other languages.

When I tried your package in my game and started a new game, it did show the new names.  Is there another part of the game that still shows the old names? |

The menu doesn't show the new names for me in a new game, either...what the heck. :( It needs to work for saved games in the first place, anyway...

That mod is how I learned to do it in the first place, they did the same things I'm doing. That page explains how to do it yourself.
If that mod contained all the worlds I'd just modify their file, but it is vastly outdated. Updating it is my goal.

cervidantidus since your file actually does work in my game, I think that either there is a conflict with another file in your mods folder, or your game thinks it is not in English but is still showing English text as a fallback since it can't find whatever language it thinks is in there. Try taking all other mods except the package you posted here and see if that works. If not, either copy the English to all languages, or delete the other languages from the .package and see if that works.

o pose by pack nao aparece no jogo oque devo fazer se eu fiz tudo certo ? the pose by pack does not appear in the game what should I do if I did everything right?
