Ello! Soooo ... I was getting error messages again and decided to switch up the locations of Blender 2.70 and 2.76, so that the default would be 2.76 instead of the 2.70. After doing so, I noticed the view was a little skewed - had never encountered that before. Instead of a straight, head-on view like I like, and was accustomed to, everything seems to be leaning forward a bit which is really throwing me off. I have tried opening my objects back up in 2.70, but the same thing is happening. I then tried some of these: BenderViewKeysand I wound up with my objects looking as if they were in midair and rotated. Luckily, I have started to NOT delete my backups - aha! Saved ... but still going crazy wondering if I am just imagining the view is tilted or if it is really tilted forward. Any help please in order to center it? I have Googled 'Blender centering', and nada. This is it in "Forward" view: Someone tell me please that they feel it is wonky, too. When working on my objects, I can't get the perspective right and things look mangled (see cup handle). If I manually tilt it up, it still looks/feels strange. Anyone?

Hi. I can't open the picture, but if i understand you right, you switched from orthographic view to prtspective. You switch between them with 5 key. 1 key - front, 3 - side, 7 - top, 9 - opposite view

So did you switch back to orthographic view with 5 key first then to front view with 1 key? It should look just like it did. (As for the name, thank you, lol, well, i went to pantone website to see what kind of names do they have for what colors and this one seemed like the most suitable one )

mauvemornWell, it is lovely. Calls to mind a sunrise. And yes, I used the 5 key first, but my object disappeared. Lol. I then closed out, reopened, and used the 1, and that made it a whole lot better. Thanks again!

it didn't disappear, probably was out of the view. You can use . key (the one that is next to 0 key) to zoom in on it. So like this "5 1 . " to switch to orthographic front view with the selection in the middle

Yes, you are right.
Normally I don't tangle with the views at all, with the exceptions of course of forward, back, left, right, top, bottom, and then spanning, etc., but somehow I must have done something that changed the entire perspective and it really, really messed with me. The "1" was fantastic (I don't remember pressing 5 then 1, but must have) and your direction helped me finish what I was working on. <3
