Error Messages Haunting Me! ... Hi all. Hoping for a little hands-on help with a file, if at all possible, please. The dishware and cup are one file, and the glassware and cutlery are another. I took screenshots of them together to give the viewer/reader a perspective on their respective sizes ... which is the issue. The cutlery is too big and the glasses are just a little too big and need to be moved down a bit if looking at it from top view. I also need to reduce the polygons. The problem is, that no matter how small any change I make in Blender is, I get the dreaded "Error Message" when attempting to import back into S4S. I suspect that there are some normals that are not facing correctly on the glasses, and I have tried numerous times to fix some I THINK may be turned, but other faces on my glasses flip or become deformed and/or, again, I get the message when importing to S4S. I am guessing that it is frowned upon to ask anyone to correct something instead of teach/give direction, but if not, could someone please help correct? (Also, can someone explain how to post pictures that automatically show up)? BlenderFileThank you!!! P.S. I can make the glasses/cutlery smaller in game with Ctrl+[, but then the glasses are then too small. Also, I am now using Blender v.2.76 as my default Blender, but I also tried with v.2.70 just in case.

Hey guys, I intended to recreate the error message(s) I was receiving and to post them as a follow-up in the hopes that it might help someone help me ... and, incredibly, (seriously, I must have tried upwards of 50 different times and in different ways before posting) it worked. I was able to make the cutlery smaller and move the glasses down.
There is NOTHING I specifically did differently to 'make it happen', but JUST in case it helps anyone else, before I tried (again, just to recreate the error and to post) I had, in the course of normal maintenance, cleaned out my registry, cleared out my browser and game cache, and rebooted. I mention this simply because REALLY, I almost gave up on it as a lost cause and it would have gone into my pile of "get back to later and redo", and then it worked. I will test the object in-game tonight just to make sure it wasn't a fluke and to make sure there isn't something (still) wrong, but thought I'd share as something to TRY if you find yourself with error messages.

Hi! Can you post a screenshot of the actual message error. it could be several things... but if cleaning the registry fixed it then there might be going on with that. Have you tried creating a new package and importing the same blend?
In imgur, click on the uploaded picture to zoom into it. Then right click and "copy image address". This is the link you should paste here when clicking the image button.

inabadromanceThank you for the response. Yes, I tried everything I could think of, several times. I was able to finally solve it by the registry clean, or whatever it was I unknowingly did, but if it happens again, will definitely post. Last night, I removed all versions of S4S and Blender, and reinstalled, because apart from the error messages, my Blender view keeps defaulting into a view I do not like and had never seen before installing the 2.76 version (which I thought would cut down on the error messages). Thanks to Mauvemorn, the view is now an easy fix, but if it remained on the head-on/straight view I like and work best with, that would be preferable. I don't know if manipulating the files too often is my main problem. Joining them, separating them, always making changes (which is why I don't share very often - I never think they are perfect enough), or if at some point I do something wrong that I am just unaware of, but the "better" I THINK I get with Blender, the more error messages I have been seeing on import into S4S. And no, 'better' is not the right word, obviously - haha. Let's say the more keen I am on trying new ways to do things with it. In any case, always very grateful to everyone here for the help. Oh, and in as far as the screenshots, thank you. Will try zooming in next time, as I have just been copying from the default address in the little box that pops up.
