I've tried to replace the shadow atlas TGI with my own (added a new texture to the package ofc), but it still uses the default one. Am I missing something?

You can't replace the shadow map. May i ask what exactly is it that you want to do with it? You can create your own shape of shadow by layering planes under the mesh mapped in the shadow texture.

inabadromance ah, I see :( Why though? I just have a very complicated model and figured it would be easier to just bake a new shadow than to fiddle with the atlas.

I can't give you an answer for that, you should ask EA.
How exactly did you add the texture in the package? Can you share it and someone can take a look.
Is this for sharing or for personal use? You could expand the main texture to add the baked shadow and have both shadow and main mesh in the same group whilst resizing and hiding the "actual"shadow inside the model.

inabadromance I don't want to share it. I generated a hash then added a new DST image resource and imported the texture. Yeah, that's how I will do it then.

That's alright. You can change the mesh and share the package as it is without your mesh. Importing the image like that isn't going to do anything. All the elements in the warehouse are linked to each other by their instance number. You need to go into each of the model's info and exchange the new shadow texture information. I suggest you take a look at this post. Look for Shadow and read the information about it. sims4studio.com/thread/377/components-ea-object
