All of my CC skins and overlays are also applying to the mermaid tail and causing it to be skin colored rather than the EA tail colors. I'm not seeing a batch fix for this so I'm not sure if it has been reported or if there is an easy fix.

Most likely there will be no batch fix for this. Creators need to fix their tails on their own. They need to edit sort layer number to make skin details appear under the tail.

Oh perfect. Thank you! I'll try this until there is a batch fix!

Creator Notes for mermaid tails from Anto at TSR “Tails are supposed to be at layer 1050, but CC skins are at 2100. This means that the higher the number is, the game will show it on top of what has lower number. This file changes EA tails to sort layer 2150, making them on top of CC skins. I M P O R T A N T ! ! ! ! ! If you want to create CC tails that work with CC skins, make sure you set the sort layer to something higher than 2100. I used 2150 for this fix, so this number should be fine.“ EA Mermaid Tail fix here: linkSorry if this is a silly question but I never had to fix something with layers before. How do I do that, i've been trying to search for tutorials
