Yesterday, I posted about this but I was so sleep deprived that evidently I didn't click "create thread." I can't find yesterday's post. Anyway, I made a lamp that isn't lighting correctly, and I'm thinking it has to do with how I vertex painted it, but it might be that I cloned the wrong lamp--I cloned the same lamp that OM did in her tutorial. I'm also a little confused about what "At" (in-game coordinates?) is in the warehouse section of Studio (per OM's tutorial: sims4studio.com/thread/4803/make-new-lamp-lights-correctly). I'm wondering too, if I need to change the light type in the warehouse tab--say, from "AmbientLight" to "DirectionalLight" or something. I'm not clear on what those different light types do. What I want is for the cone/nose portion of the rocket to be lit--everything above the blue "stripe"--and I'd like the light to be directed upward, if possible. Here's what it looks like in Studio: And here's what it looks like in game: Here's my .blend and .package: Link for to be clicked
And I haven't done the specular, bump map, or the LOD 1 yet, but I don't think those are what's causing my issue.

I don't understand this link you provided, deonmckmight. It just leads back to my first post and doesn't answer my questions.

Thanks, Feyona.
Can anyone help with my question? I'm thinking that maybe I could look at another creator's lamps that's similar to what I'm making, say one by DOT, and see how she (he?) did hers then try to mimic what was done. Knowing what lamp to clone would be a big help. Is it possible to look at another person's creation and see what was cloned? For instance, in Sims 3 it's possible to open a clothing .package file in S3PE, look at the part labeled BBLN, and see listed what the original cloned item was. I can't see how to do that in Studio.
What I want is for my lamp to have a sort of upward-pointing spotlight, but most of the lamps in-game have lampshades and the light seems to be directed downward.
Lol, I made this rocket thing as part of a Maya beginners' tutorial, thinking, yeah, I can do this real quick, make it into a lamp, have something to upload for the community that will be relatively easy to do. Haha.
Anyway, any help would be so very much appreciated.
