I made a bed and when I put it into the studio the weights go all wrong. I changed the weight several times and each time it changes, so I went back to my original base. Here is the Package and blend file with the correct weights *Update* It seems like the version of Blender I was using was the issue. After using 2.70 import/exporting the mesh it seems good.

Weights are not something I know anything about but I have made a lot of beds. It looks as if you have combined the seasons bedding with island canopy frame that has been modified, I had the same idea myself but haven't got around to doing it. When I make beds I use the bedding as the central point to build the frame around. I never ever move the bedding because it disturbs the rig and I can't be bothered to learn how to realign it. I suggest that you start a new mesh, import the bedding into blender, and then switch to the frame and move it until its in the right place, not touching the bedding at all. Then try it out in game and see if that helps.

I tried that and still had the problem. It seems to only be the mattress having the problem because the bed frame weight transferred properly.

You have removed the decorative pillows from the bedding, My guess is that's why the weight is wrong. My experience has shown me that even moving a single vertice on the bedding can throw the rig out. You could try a test mesh with the headboard pillows to see if that is the problem.

Sorry about the late reply but the pillows aren't a problem. I did a test and the pillows made no difference.

I had a look at both my re colour and your mesh showing the weights. The only difference is the sheet across the top of the bedding. I couldn't see what was causing this but thought maybe the pictures would help if someone in the know had a look. I'm out of ideas I'm afraid but I do hope you find the solution.

*Update* So far everything I do to fix this issue ends up with incorrect weights on the bone assignments and this is after doing weight transfers and trying to use another mattress. I have repeatedly made a new clone to test but it also ends up the same.

Does changing the length of the mattress have something to do with the weights changing as well. I also noticed that there is sometimes partial success in weight transfer. I don't know why but creating a new package nor cloning a new mesh seems to work.
