Could you provide some pictures please? You will more than likely have to edit the UV maps of the items so that they don't use the same space.

Hi. Open the book package. In Mesh tab hit Export. Do the same for the wing. Open the book blend, File - Append - the wing package - Object - s4studio_mesh_1. Select the wing, switch to Edit mode, press A to select everything, in UV editor click on Open and choose this image. Shift-select the book, switch to Edit mode, select everything, click on the image icon and choose THE SAME IMAGE YOU ALREADY IMPORTED IN THE SCENE. View - Draw other objects. Now you can see the wing uvs. S to scale the uvs, G to move, R to rotate. Once done, UVs- Export uv layout. You will use it as a reference for texture editing. Delete the wing, save the blend, import back in the book package. Edit the texture.

As mauvemorn has explained. You will need to edit the items following the above steps so that the two items no longer share the same space on the UV map.

Yeah. The UVs project a texture on a 3D mesh surface, right? All CAS items share the same UV space. The texture overlap happens because the book UVs are in the same place as the wing UVs. So you just need to move the book UVs a bit to the side so that they do not overlap with the wing UVs.
