I'm in the process of basically making a giant hot tub that I want to use as an exercise pool, so making it as a shallow pool. I'm having trouble getting the water to show up in the game. All of the animations work, my sim can get in and use it as if it were a hot tub. But the hot tubs in the game, the water is always there, even when your sim isn't in the hot tub. I want the water to be present at all times. This is what I want and the mesh I'm working off of: This is what shows up in Sims 4 Studio: And this is what shows up in the game: Here is a link to everything I'm using in this project: www.simfileshare.net/download/1553922/

Make sure to finish importing your mesh into the different geometry states for each LOD, even if you aren't using the upgrades. Other than that, I'm not seeing any difference between your pool and the tub (there's like one misc thing in Blender but I think it's just the way the mesh looks).

Tried it, sadly it didn't work. I've simplified the mesh some, but those misc things are the "upgrades" EA has added to the different geometry state, so I can't delete them without making the mesh disappear when I upload it into sims 4 studio. Here is my updated mesh, could someone take a look, thanks www.simfileshare.net/download/1554888/

Hmmm...I'm not sure. Maybe try increasing the size of the water texture? I'm not familiar with water objects so I'm not quite sure what else could be wrong. I adjusted the water VFX a bit and that didn't seem to help either.

Oh, there's also another water texture in the warehouse. Try adjusting all water related textures to bigger sizes since your pool is massive compared to the tub, but I'm honestly not sure if that will work. Also, I noticed in your shadow LOD's the pool is empty, meaning there's no water, while in the tub it seems like the water is present there too. Again, don't think that will solve it but it won't hurt to try.
