I was making a robotic pet costume based on an old concept art and ran into an issue. What are the chops numbers for pets? as in, what number would it take to erase the entire pets body including fur and tail, there simply are no pet costumes that do this that i can find. This is kind of a weird thing to ask but would open many doors to future projects. Please help.

Hi. Clone adBody_SP14Astronaut_SolidTan, Tools - Modding - Embed all externally referenced resources, switch to Warehouse tab, choose Region map, there will be a button next to Entries, should say something like Change elements ( my s4s is not in English), click on it, there you will see Base, Necklace, Ears. If you click on drop down menu next to Region type, you will see 7 types related to animals. You might want to check different maxis meshes to know what some of them do. I think you can exclude other body parts like this but i don't see paws and head for pets

Tails could be controlled via region maps, as mauvemorn said. Regional maps -> Entries -> Edit items, on the left click "Add" button, on the right switch "Base" to Tail A and in layer put 20001. Then copy this line 3 times and change to Tail B, Tail C, Tail D. This should hide any out of 4 types of tails. To remove fur you need to use excludepart modifiers as linked above. Sometimes you need to combine both resources in order to hide certain body parts. Try putting 2800000000000000 in Excludepartflags first before changing Region maps. Please let us know if it worked (I don't have time to check it right now).

Thank you! this does help either way, but i did a test with just the Exclude parts modifier and it worked for the icon but for some reason not the cat itself. I then tried to then change the regional maps but couldn't find exactly what you meant. something seems to be missing here.

It's not in CAS Part. It is a separate resource. You need to embed all external resources. Click Tools -> Modding -> embed external resources from drop-down menu.
