Hello. I've followed this tutorial: sims4studio.com/thread/81/weight-transfer-blender to transfer weights but it just won't work out for me. The thing that confuses me most is when I click on transfer weights, nothing happens. Is there anything that I'm missing or is anything wrong? This is my main mesh that I'm trying to transfer the weights to: And this is my previous version of this mesh with correct weights (which I forgot how I even got that to work out) to transfer from: Please help if you can! I really appreciate it!

Hi. 1). In the first pic the reference meshgroup you are transferring weights from is hidden. It should be visible. This is why the transfer did not happen. 2). Blue means the area is not affected by the selected vertex group. It does not mean the weights are correct; 3). You will not get correct weight from this reference because the bracelets do not overlap. 4). You do not need to use Blender 2.70 to transfer weight and vertex paint. All of this can be done in Blender 2.78, which you need to transfer a uv_1 map. So what you should do: 1). Download 2.78 unless you already have it. You can delete other versions and navigate s4s to this one; 2). Download this addon. Put downloaded file in Blender\2.78\scripts\addons. Install it ( File - Preference - type remove in the search bar - enable the addon - Save user Settings - restart Blender); 3). Open your scene. Unfold rig and make top visible and selectable; 3). Select it, Shift-select your bracelets, switch to Weight paint, click on Transfer Weights, choose By Name; 4). Click on Clean, select All groups; 5). Switch to Data tab, click on this icon, choose Remove unused vertex groups;
6). Transfer a uv_1 map from the same top like this:
