I have Blender 2.80 but S4S only works with Blender 2.70 i was wondering if you could make it compatible with the new Blender for the next update. Thanks.

Hi. The Sims 4 studio is compatible with 2.76-2.79 as well ( 2.79 is not stable, 2.78 is best). It has all features you might need. As I understand, Blender 2.8+ does not work with old computers (or versions of operating systems?), which means some people would not be able to use s4s if it supports only 2.8 version. This is why developers decided to focus on functionality instead of making s4s compatible with numerous versions of Blender. If you still want to use the newest versions, you can by installing 2 versions of Blender and navigating s4s to the one it supports. You can do whatever you want in 2.8, then save, then open the blend file in 2.7/2.76-78, set type and add cut numbers, save again, import in s4s.

So I just wanted to mention that not all .blend files made and edited in 2.8 will even open in 2.7 versions, or the rigs (in the case of animation especially) mess up, so this often does not work.

Some time ago there was a thread in Creator's help started by a moderator on how to open these file, but I am on mobile now and search does not seems to want to show me results for "2.8" or even "Blender" in the thread's title. If any of you are on pc right now or will see it before I get to mine, try seaching for these terms in titles.

Found it, so what you should do is not open the same blend file in 2.78 but append it Export file with Studio using whatever version works with the program, open in 2.79+, work, save, open 2.76, append the file from 2.79 version, change cut numbers, save and import to Studio.

Hello S4S users, is this answer still relevant? I use Blender 2.78, but after werewolfes update it's not working pretty well. So I get back to 2.76b and it's worse :( There is an alternative..
