So I found this idea on how to get the feet into position, but I thought I recalled having to input a number somewhere to raise the sim so you don't get weird looking legs or ankle lines from the feet not lining up with the legs.... does anyone know or have a link to the "correct" way to make high heels? It's been awhile since I've modeled sim clothes and I'm not sure if I should follow this tut or not...I feel like there's something more to it than just positioning the feet with the rig.
Hi. You should not move the whole rig, that is for posing only. If you want your shoes to not require a high-heel slider to function in-game, this is as far as your freedom goes ( cannot go above the top edge loop or lower than the ground ). IMO feet on heels above 10 cm/4 inches look bad ( too small, ankles look too wide in comparison with feet ), so if you want to go above that, you will have to go below the ground level and get the slider involved. The slider lifts the whole body above the ground.
