I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction, if I'm missing something. I'm trying to add a new interaction, in this case it's to a bed. I've copied the general sleep tuning found in "object_beddouble" and "object_bedsingle" and renamed it along with asmall tweak of the "wakeupinxhours" options. But when I choose the interaction in game, my sims won't walk over to the bed and use it. The action will appear in their bar for a few seconds, then disappear as they just stand there. Am I missing something? Is there an extra step I need to do for them to actually interact with it? Thank you

You made sure to add the interaction to all the related object tuning files, or inject to all the related files? Also, is all you changed the loot (besides the name, etc.)?

I've edited: • Loot_Wakeup_GiveWakeupInXHours • buff_Sim_WakeupInXHoursHidden • tent_sleep • Tent_large • Tent_small • object_bedSingle • object_bedDouble • bed_sleep I want to make an interaction to specifiy an amount of time to sleep for - "Sleep for 8 hours" to pass time quicker without them getting up all the time if their energy is max (I want to add it to a tent too) I started with the sleep interaction - then went through it to find anything that looked like I'd need to change, then edit those and check through them, and if there was something further I needed to change I'd edit and look through that - like a reverse engineering chain I guess

Hmmm....Maybe try to go back to the beginning, just clone the interaction as is, give it a new name, instance, id, test it. If it works, then that means a change somewhere else broke. If it doesn't, then it's a different issue. I've heard the beds are more finnicky than ever since the DU update, this might be one of those cases.
If it does work, make one change at a time, starting with the most important one which is the sleep 8 hours. Test again. It's annoying but it helps track down the issue. I haven't encountered such an issue before so I'm not sure what else to suggest. Normally I'd say it's the constraints, but I'm not even seeing them in the basic sleep interaction so I'm not sure.
