Hiyaa, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice - I've looked for answers already here and I can't seem to find anything, but I'm also not fully sure how to word what I'm hoping for answers to!
So I've been following this tutorial; sims4studio.com/thread/7044/finish-marvelous-designer-clothing-tutorial
I've tried it a couple times beginning to end in the past, but I'm just picking it up again after a decent amount of time away and I'm getting into some of the same issues - Basically when I get to about stage 8.
I can re-organise the uv-0 for the CC clothing on the sim base texture fine (I think?!) But No matter how organised I make the MD set up, or how careful I am with touching up the mesh in Blender, and using the sculpt tool sparingly etc, the basic UV's I get are always just such a mess.
On the tutorial linked above, their CC has some sense of "shape" of the MD mesh, and when you separate it it makes sense visually - I've had times where the map's come out making more sense, but most of they time they're just a huge jumble.
Right now I'm literally just going through face by face, vertices by vertices, just gradually almost "sewing" the uv map together, and good god is it taking me forever.
Is there a faster way to re-organise? Or an automatic thing I can click to clean it up and then I can go in after and tidy it up more?
I feel like I have to be doing something wrong here, but I'm not sure what :s
I can't show what it was like at the start because I've saved over it, but I've only organised the Waistband, the leg bands, and about half of the front of this pair of shorts I'm trying to figure out - And at the start I got confused so a few connected vertices got moved out of place, but for the most part that huge jumbled mess off to the middle/bottom left is what I have every single time :s

((I've chucked the stuff I've finished organising at the top just to keep it out the way, I'll obviously move it to where it should be once it's all organised etc ^^))
((The selected yellow is the part I'm working on tidying at the moment))
Apologies if this has been answered, I had no idea what to search for and couldn't see anything that looked like a fit in the FAQ ><
TYSM in advance!!! <3
