Hi all , I am not sure if this is even legit but i am trying to extract blender animation files for some of popular modders that use the WickedWhims mod to do some edits on the animation for personal preference only, i am not intending to reshare or anything it is just i like to edit stuff.
I tried to open the package directly in S4studio but seems the app crashes? as i can not even access the clips section (tab disappeared, nothing except export) and when i try to export i only get one sim animation and it seems incorrect.
Tried S4pe but it exported animation and binary files tried to import them in S4studio got same exact result, i feel S4studio is not understanding the data.
Are wickedwhims animations done by one sim at a time and later combined ? i do not think so. besides S4studio does not have an option to export more than one sim
can you guys put me on the right direction here?or am i asking for something not allowed?
Thanks anyway

Are you accessing a merged package? Do you have the latest version of S4S? I'm not sure what else could be the issue.

Not sure what you mean by merged package but after serious investigation i managed to reach somewhere WikedWhims packages include every sim animation in separate .animation file , even for 2 or more persons poses i see the animation for every sim separated. I also see an xml file with poses maps and instructions i guess thats how WW works The thing is i have to append each sim animation file to get the correct blender animation file in the end , which is really intimidating Also i think S4studio generates the default/native sim rig not the WW custom rig so another step to replace the rigs I just wonder if there is another straight forward method to do this as this sound too much time consuming , and almost nobody answers either here or at WW main forum i guess this task involves some copyright/ownership issue so they are keeping it hush hush thing
