I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this... I searched but did not find anything helpful on this. I'm finding myself frustrated with the few color tags available for objects. The basic colors are there but "Pink" has a wide array of very different hues and names for them (baby pink, hot pink). I can understand the few for say CAS (like for hair, eyes, etc). But there are way too few for objects. Like Turquoise or Aqua isnt even on there, Burgundy or Maroon, Hunter Green vs. Green is much different, Gold, Silver, Copper, I could think of a lot of colors I think would be great. I understand that there probably is some limit because of coding and stuff, but I'm finding myself using Blue and Green when I have an object that is turquoise. I didnt know if there was a way that we could add them in ourselves or if that was something that is more than just S4S doable (like the game needs to have more options).
Thanks in advance!

You may want to make this post on the official Sims 4 Suggestion forums.
The color tags that Studio has are those that the game itself actually uses. Without any way in-game to filter for colors such as Incarnadine or Periwinkle, there is not much point in Studio having those colors added to its tagging capabilities...

Aren't those tags more for ingame filtering? Do you honestly need 20 different "pink" tags, or wouldn't that just make it unnecessarily difficult to properly tag items? From my years of simming, I've realized creators have vastly different opinions on colors and color names, so a "Turqoise" or "mint" for one creator might not be the same color for another creator, even if vaguely within the same general area.
I think I'd rather just stick to the general color names of "pink" or "red".

Thank for the replies. I can understand either not having enough tags to having too many. I was just using the colors I mentioned as examples. However, there are colors in true interior designs that probably should be added just for more realism. I'll go over to the Sims Suggestion forums. I do agree that knit picking colors is not helpful to the developers, but I do think that there are just some colors that need to be added for more realism. Again thanks much for your opinions!

I can agree that more simple categories like light/mid/dark tones of foro instance pink/blue/green could be helpful, but at some point it gets a bit tedious to sort the colors.
One for "pattern" could be helpful, though. Floral or geometric or some such. But there too you risk getting a bit too detailed.
