Which lines are you talking about? It's not that easy to see on the picture because of the texture. Could you upload the Blender file, maybe?

Blender FileI didn't know how to upload the file, so I just added a link. My apologies.

The link doesn't go anywhere. Do you have a file uploading site (mediafire, Simfileshare, Box, Dropbox, or anything like that) you can post the file to? (if you don't, I sent you an invite code to Simfileshare, just in case - could always come in handy)

Except for some possible normal issues at the top (the dark spots around the cork), I can't see any lines. Are you sure you're not mistaking lines in the mesh for lines in the texture?
The UVmap does look like it's split up in a lot of small pieces (is it changed from the one used in the package seen in the picture?) so if you're seeing a lot of split lines in the texture, that could be the problem there. UVs usually need to be continous for the texture to look good. There isn't a finished texture included, so I can't see how it looks like on the mesh.
Usually if you just mark the mesh and click "UV-map" you get a so-and-so result. You'll want some control over the map so you know what goes where, and so you don't end up with a lot of separated pieces.
