No, you just import them in the package, save the file and check it in-game. The issue you had was caused by the absent normal map because this is what "Make blank" button does, it removes the file from the package completely which disrupts its structure and causes all type of issues. Okay, so I put the files there and the shadow is generated alone? and I'm sure that won't solve it, I uploaded my hair with all the maps of the previous hair that was there and the black squares were there

This one just has the fixed textures applied - let us know if that works. At the moment I'm between S4S versions and patches, so I'm not entirely sure if I'll get the same results as you'll have.

I do wonder if it could be a problem with the UV_1. It does seem to follow the same pattern as the squares seen in your picture, and it does show up in Blender when you click UV_1 in the triangle icon (object data). Not entirely sure how to fix it, but someone probably does, since I've seen this problem mentioned several times around here.

I don't think you're meant to remove the UV_1, but you may have to edit it.
(File has been removed, by the way).
