i cant find any tutorials for making a item like a glass/cup/mug. i really wanted to make cute mugs for cups of tea ect but cant see where i can learn this.does anyone know how to or not? sorry ive ive missed something obvious >.> i am very new to this!

Youtube? (probably not the best tutorial, as this is pretty much the first result I got, but there were quite a few tutorials over there on mugs, so you can find some variants of it). Mugs are basically hollowed cylinders with a handle, so they're good beginner projects with a couple of decent challenges here and there. Good luck

OH im so sorry its not the blender side its the sims4 aspect making it interactive <,< so can be used as a cup is like got from the coffee machine or fridge!

I think you can only override the existing cup mesh with a new one and can't add another one. If you're looking for the original cup to override it should be in the debug tab of S4S

If you are only wanting to recolor a mug for a specific drink, not global replace, you will have to clone/renumber/recolor(and maybe remesh if that's what you want) an EA cup and add the new id number to the recipe for the drink you want.

Technically you should be able to replace a mesh with another one as long as they're roughly the same shape and size and all that so the animations don't look completely out of place, but I don't know how that works in TS4.
(In TS2 most meshes have been successfully default replaced/overridden, but that's where I've got most of my experience from).
