Blank or transparent? A blank/transparent map is bad. You can use a proper blank one that has a texture that takes away the spec, but don't use the "make blank" button.

Used this blank map forever, all channels are black. Just checked again, it's black.

I've been taught (by TSR) that all black is not good (should be red + alpha black ...) but whatever, i don't think it comes from that. Does your uv map matches the lines ?

Redid the glass part from scratch around 4 times and changed UV maps, i mean i have separate texture for glass, so it's all in solid color. I mean i did glass before, and never had this.

I did have some difficulties with a turntable glass cover which reflects was really weird. Now I prefer working with alpha and light blue color with handbrush (fake) reflects...

So i cloned different object, all good now. Still don't know what was the problem, but it's fixed now. For the fixed version i used Scrolls in case anyone runs in similar troubles. prnt.sc/tbjmoq
