Honestly thank you so much, i was googling around aswell before i saw your reply! I'm always amazed with how nice and helpful the people in this forum are! While im holding you hostage here... removing the vertex groups also undos the pose again x( How on earth did you remove the vertex groups without changing the pose??

I have no idea... I thought maybe that was because I joined the baby with the jar's mesh before removing the vertex group but then I just tried to open the baby blender file and remove them and it doesn't change the pose... Are you sure you're removing them in the right place ? Here ?

I thought maybe that was because I joined the baby with the jar's mesh before removing the vertex group but then I just tried to open the baby blender file and remove them and it doesn't change the pose... Are you sure you're removing them in the right place ? Here ?All vertex groups are removed and the baby T-poses. Im sure theres something im missing....
I did this now with the baby as an obj file, seems like we need the brainpower of several people to make this babyjar work on MY computer for some reason But it seeeeeeeeems like this is working! This forum is so full to the brim with smart people, thanks a lot for the help. Don't ask me why things that worked on your pc didnt work on mine tho, let's just ignore that. Same with the joining, because i joined it exactly how you said and it didnt work. Closed the file and opened it again, joined the things and it worked. Im sure its something about which order you select the things you want to join or SOMETHING but... Beats me. WHATEVER, the baby is looking crisp now, i think it's solved!! :D

The order you select items to join DOES make a difference. Usually you select the part you want to retain the details or settings from LAST.
