My mesh (a choker) is not working very well with some shirts from the sims and I don't know how to solve this issue, can someone help me please? This is my first acc CC and first (almost) finished CC too. Pictures: imgur.com/a/oBDWRqt showing imgur.com/a/BRln9pQ not showing I've made it using Christopher067 youtube tutorial (same necklace from base game too) My package and .blend file simsfileshare

In the Warehouse tab, on the left panel select Region Map. On the right panel push the, Entries--> Edit Items... button. In the Editing Entries... window, on the left panel select Chest. On the right panel change RegionType to Base. Save. You may want to raise the value to 400 as others did in the original thread I found the info from. Read for more info.: sims4studio.com/thread/15493/necklace-disabled-top

Hi. There are chokers and there are necklaces, they are tuned differently. You should delete the second meshgroup (cube), clone the cut number to 0000 if it's 0001, then clone a choker and import the blend there
Edit: so it seems that some chokers are tuned this way, other the same as necklaces. The one I checked was from the expansion pack, so cloning it is not an option if you are planing on sharing it. Try importing your unedited blend in yfAcc_NeckChokerSpikes

I tried doing it but for some reason my mesh get's transparent and it only shows the shadow map. My package (updated) and blend file (it continues the same from the very beginning): simsfilesharemaybe i should try doing it again from the very beginning?

Never re-do things if you do not know what is causing the issue because you will end up with the same problem. That being said, you should have not made something this high poly. You do not want to go past 10k, which is already a lot for an accessory. You can select edge loops in the UV editor and dissolve them in 3d view. Then bake a normal map from high poly to low poly. Collapse the hole at the backside ( select everything, Select - select boundary loop, Alt M - Collapse, select the uvs in that area, W - weld )
The cut numbers of the meshgroups you import in the package must correspond to the original.Right now they do not. The cube has a different shader assigned to it. The layer in Region map should be 350 for both.
The mesh also has no uv_1 map and is not vertex painted with 007f00. Some people do not make the uv_1 for necklaces because it can clip in the neck, but yours is far away from the neck so that should work. Otherwise it will not morph at all

If you want to check how it is now: simsfileshareI've only changed the name of the .blend file because my WIP folder is a mess rn and I'm trying to keep track of my files. Thanks so so much for all of the help you are giving me, not only you but the others too. PS: I'll need to work on the shadow map a little but the rest is all good!

First, create a new uv map with + button to the right. Rename it to uv_1. Then unfold rig, make top selectable ( cursor icon next to eye icon ), select the necklace, add Data transfer modifier, choose top as Source object, set the rest like in the pic, Apply

IT WORKED!!!!!!! OMG, thank you so so much! It's finally working right, the choker looks a little deformed when I put the neck at it's maximum but the rest is all good and I was also capable of getting the polycount down a little more!! I'll not post this choker because I want to make it again from the beginning and create a better texture to it and make the gems a little bigger to see if I can make it with 3 rows For now, I let the package and blend files if you want to see the final product and a big big thanks to y'all! simsfileshare
