I was wondering if I merged the cauldron package with the wishing well pack that the cauldron could have wishing well interactions or am I better of tuning.
Any advice appreciated.

No, it doesn't work that way. You'd need to either A) give the cauldron's Object Definitions the same tuningID and name as the wishing well's, which would get rid of the cauldron interactions, etc., or B) manually merge the cauldron tuning with the wishing well tuning.
So to do B, you would copy over the interactions (called super affordances, bottom of the file) from the wishing well's Object Tuning to the cauldron's Object Tuning, and also any misc data you want from the rest of the file. This may or may not work immediately, sometimes you can't just copy and paste and may need to make changes. Normally just copying over works though. To get to the Object Tuning, you need to copy the tuningID or name from both Object Definitions, then go to Tools > Extract Tuning and when it loads paste the name or number, click on the tuning you need, then click Add to Package. Then you'd just compare the two and add what you need.
