Hello everyone, I'm fairly new here so I would firstly like to apologize if this is not the right place to ask, please guide me T_T
Is it possible to have the same package file recategorised into two categories, e.g: Dress and Top category? I have found several CC that appears in both Top and Dress Category using separate package file.
I tried changing category of CC using S4S but I can't seem to put both package files (original package file and the one I recategorised) as only the original would show up. It would be amazing if I can have a lot of CC in both Top and Dress category so I can choose to pair it with bottom or just using it as a dress. Is there a way around this?

There does not seem to be any way to have the same package file appear in more than one CAS category as far as I can tell.
However, more to the point, while there are some types of CC that can easily be cloned and the clone set to a different category and that's the only change necessary to make an identical item appear in multiple slots, many things that were made as a top cannot just be cloned and set to full body, or vice versa, without any other changes at all, and while you can get a decent result on some items with simple changes you can make in S4S, those changes also require separate packages for each item and would still do so even if one package could have multiple CAS categories. (Other items will need mesh changes.)

You have to clone through S4S to create a new package and then re-categorize in order for it to show up. If you just Save As, or copy/paste and rename the .package then it won't work. But as Cidira said some items can't be easily moved and requires changes.
As for multiple categories, I took a quick look and you might be able to do so by going to the Warehouse, selecting the CAS Part, scroll to the bottom or use search to find Tags, click Edit Items across from it when found, and then you would just add the extra tags you want. I don't really have anything to test on but based on my previous experience with tags it should work, though you may run into the issues Cidira was mentioning, but otherwise worth a try for the right items.

I quite figured so as well since I've tried several things but it just won't appear in the same categories. Just needed some confirmation from experts here. Thanks again!

Hello there! Thank you so much for the suggestion but unfortunately, I've tried it but it still would only appear in the original category. I think I might just have to decide on the clothings on which category I want tqsm for answering! <3

All you have to do is clone the package as said above. The most important issue here is the fact that some items will not work (they'll look obviously wrong all the time) or will not work well (they'll look a little off or will only look okay with a small variety of other content) if you just change the category from top to full body, or from full body to top, and don't make any other changes. (And you'll have to look at each item in CAS, not just S4S, to tell if they work well in the new category or not, including testing full body items moved to the top category with a variety of bottoms.)

Do you happen to have a link to a tutorial that I can refer to to clone the package? I've searched for cloning tutorials but most of them is for recoloring.
