Hi! I saw a few times jackets in rings or other sections, and you could put them over shirts. How do i do that? Do i place the mesh on ring section or is something more complicated?
Also, thanks a lot mauvemorn for having patience and helping me so much, i finally did it with your help <3

Hi. You're welcome. Basically they recategorize the item in Category tab in s4s to a ring, but its more complicated than that: 1). If you want to turn a maxis top (with a jacket) into an accessory, you can simply export the blend file, delete body parts, whatever is underneath the jacket, re-import it back in s4s, recategorize, change sort layer (so that the jacket textures appear on top of the t-shirts) . If you're lucky, the jacket textures will not overlap with t-shirts. The reason for this is because maxis items are unwrapped the same way ( arms where arms should be and so on). However, sometimes the textures will not match perfectly, so you'll have to move the jackets uvs and rebake the textures. 2). Another way of doing it would be to completely avoit the space meant for clothing. Most people put their uvs into the space meant for hair because its the biggest. But the texture quality would be worse ofc. You can also put them in the extra space meant for tops but i do not recommend using it at all because people put just about everything in there
So, if you're going to do it, make a symmetrical (texture-wise) item so that you could put symmetrical uv islands on top of each other and have more space
