Hey y'all, dumb quick Blender (2.70) question. I'm messing around with rigs, and it drives me nuts how the vertex groups are in a seemingly random order (like, the feet bones aren't near the leg bones, and the finger bones aren't near each other either....). Do I have to leave them in this order in order for my mesh to work properly in game, or can I bump things around so that I can put the vertex groups in an order that works better for my workflow? Thanks!

Hi. Im not sure about poses, but if you're making mesh-based CAS items, it does not matter what order they are in.

Thank you so much! I'm just doing mesh-based CAS items, no poses at this time. I appreciate it!

But why do you need to touch them at all? Maybe there's something wrong about your weight transfer settings?

Order of the vertex groups does not matter neither for the poses nor for creating clothes.
