I'm having issues trying to get the normal map to work for a shirt I am working on. If I replace the normal map with a blank one, it is fine... but if possible, I'd like to get the normal map to work since the strap and collar of the shirt are not 3D modeled but a texture overlaying the normal body (cloned from an EAxis basegame T-shirt using "Create CAS Standalone"), so I want it to have more depth without increasing poly count. That is why I want a normal map to work.
Here is how it looks in-game. What is showing up on the fingers is the Normal map, and I am unsure what is causing the darkness on the skin of the collar/strap area (it MAY be from transparency in the normal map because it started appearing only after I tried making the normal map with transparent background?):
The dimensions of both image files (Diffuse and Normal) are the same, and they are aligned in Photoshop and Blender. On the mesh's UV in Blender, there is no such overlap on the fingers, neither on the diffuse or normal map... the normal map therefore SHOULD be aligned to the diffuse, but in-game for some reason, it isn't. And this is what I can't figure out.
I used the blank specular and shadow map from here, because I didn't need specular shine and figured I'll do shadow later: inabadromance.tumblr.com/post/153668098479/hi-i-was-wondering-if-you-could-please-upload
This is the tutorial I follow for making the normal map:

This is the .package file, if anyone wants to inspect it:

Any help is appreciated.
Edit: Ok, I tried fiddling with this some more, adding in proper Shadow Map (which works), but now it's suddenly flashing colors?
