How to make fences in the latest version of S4S

As far as I remember fences were never in Studio. The only way to edit the fence is by cloning another item, importing a fence mesh that was exported from a Warehouse tab, and changing instance ID. I bet fences need even more tweaking after this but this is where my knowledge ends. See this post with a video showing how to do what I described above.

I know that Brujah did this when he created custom stairs. It is not a simple item to make, I assume that this is the reason why they were not added to the Studio. Normally, everything that you can clone in Studio is coded in a way that you get all the needed resources in the file. This information was shared by simgurus so it was somewhat easier to code the Studio accordingly. And fences and other stackable objects might need much more tweaking, and game devs never shared enough information so developers on sims 4 community tools could make an option to create fences, stairs and columns as easily as other items. I hope what I wrote makes sense, my brain is a mush today :D.
