Hello, everyone! I have succeeded(!) in making a reasonably passable frankenmesh hair, which looks okay in CAS. However, in game it looks a mess. The sim's body seemed to be covered in a cream-colored texture that will disappear the closer I zoom up to him. (I changed the hair color to pink just so it was easier to distinguish in these caps.)
I've tried several things at this point: - Made sure I saved my .dds files properly
- Checked my LODs
- Swapped in blank textures for the shadow, bump, and spec maps per this person's post.
But I haven't seemed to have solved the issue! Does anyone have any clue what is going on with this mesh?
Thank you!

Hi. Can't check the files right now, but did you generate minmaps when saving the diffuse in dds? Did you choose the option with interpolated alpha? Is the size 1024x2048 ( or twice the size for hq compatibility?) I always forget what causes this issue 🙈

Generated mipmaps and used the interpolated alpha method, yep! The size of the texture is 1024x2048, yep! For good measure, I checked the sizes of the spec, bump, and shadow maps and they all seem to match those of an EA mesh.
I'm really stumped!

No dice! Still the same problem.

Ahah. I tried a diffuse file with a transparent background and saved it as a .png, and the problem went away! It seems to be something silly with the .dds format, I wish I knew what. Thank you for pitching in, mauvemorn!
