Hi, Ive meshed some shoes on blender ive merged them with base game shoes ive unwrapped the UVs and placed them where they are supposed to be but now im stuck lol I know I have to do something with vertex paint and weights But I have no clue about any of that as I create decor. if anyone could explain and help me that would be amazing Thanks, Kate

Hi. All mesh-based CAS items work the same way: they move, morph, display textures, switch lods ( some also interact with each other or affect the mood ). To make the item move, you need to rig it by transferring weights from the reference. To make it morph, you need to transfer a uv_1 map and vertex paint it ( shoes are vertex painted with 00ff00 ) For s4s to import the mesh, you need to assign a cut number. If you are making shoes that go above the area of feet into the area of calves, you need to split them into meshgroups Clone an item that looks the closest to yours and study it
