Hi, I didn't remove my sims 4 defaults that I wanted to keep when running the batchfix disallow cc for defaults. Now my sims don't have faces and have the standard EA eyes instead of my defaults. And here is the worst part I deleted my back ups cause my computer needed space. Tried to get them back with easyUS data recovery wizard but, alas no luck. Is there a way to re allow cc for defaults?

I think you mean 'disallow for random' (that's what it's called in English, your operating system probably translated it) and I've done the exact same thing before, just forgot that defaults could be affected and never removed them from the Mods folder.
Yes, you can absolutely fix this easily yourself! There are a few ways to do it.
One, you can put all your defaults in one folder (if they aren't already) and run the 'Allow CC for random' batchfix on JUST THAT ONE FOLDER (not your entire Mods folder, since I assume that would do a thing you don't want, if you just finished disallowing it all for random). This is probably the easiest method.
Two, you can do it by hand for each of your CAS default replacements. It's not too difficult, I can explain how to do it (with pictures) if you'd like, and it might be the best method since there are actually two different 'allow for random' settings and the batchfix only changes one. (I have not been able to find definite confirmation of the difference between them.)
Three, you can also re-download any files that are available to be downloaded again from the internet and replace the ones you accidentally changed with the newly downloaded copies. This is pretty easy if all the stuff is still available and not too hard to find, but won't work if you had defaults you made yourself and never uploaded anywhere, or if creators have taken their content down.
Also, there is another thing you should be aware of that might be affecting your game right now. If you use the file that removes the EA eyelashes from all Sims automatically, the creator says on the download page that making changes to it with S4S will break it, period. So you can't just allow it for random again and have it work normally, according to the creator. If you had that file, you'll need to delete it and re-download it no matter what you do with the other files. It is also a very likely cause of faceless Sims (which I know because I also ran the batchfix on it accidentally), which is why I mentioned it.

hi, thanks for your reply! I've tried fixing the eyes by running a map with just the eye defaults through allow cc for random. Then I put only the eyes in my game to see if they appear as defaults. Unfortunately they didn't. It shows the wrench icon but it's still the maxis eyes instead of the defaults. as for the face after I removed my default teeth the faces became normal again last time I checked. also the cc in question is easy for me to find. so I already kept putting in clean new download of them but the same problem keeps happening. imgur.com/a/os1ivdI hopefully I put the image in right.

Had you also updated your game recently, and can you link to the download?

That one I don't have any great suggestions for besides the standard one: use the 50/50 method to find the problem file. If you find the file but can't figure out the problem, then I might be able to help.
