Hoping this is the correct place to ask this-I recolored the Incomparable hair by Historical Sims Life [ Found Here] but when I use it in my game, the accessory overlays don't work. I thought this might be due to how I recolored the hair, so I tried again (Months later, the original recolor long lost due to a dead computer) with the headband area being left white now that I know how to do that more easily, but the overlay still doesn't work on the recolored hair-neither the original one from the download or the recolored one. They both work on the original hair, however, so I assume that the overlay mesh was recolored correctly. Is this an issue due to layering order? The hair recolor is adding on swatches, and the overlay is a stand alone item, but since the recolored overlay works on the original hair, I'm not sure if that matters too much. Thanks in advance for any advice! I really would like to be able to figure this out, to hopefully prevent this from happening again. Edit: Accidentally put a link somehow

Hi. If you were to open the hair package and go to Warehouse tab, you'd see CAS part entries. Select any of them, type "sort layer" in the search bar to the right, check what number is in there. Then do the same in your headband package and make sure that number is higher. It is also possible that the hair is tuned to exclude that category of accessory, so check if there is anything in ExcludePartFlags

It is also possible that the hair is tuned to exclude that category of accessory, so check if there is anything in ExcludePartFlags And this my guys gals and nonbinary pals, is why we don't work on CC when we're not fully awake. I for some reason thought the hair was supposed to be a higher number under Sort Layer, and didn't figure it out until it didn't work. Once I fixed that and put the scarf as higher, it worked! Thank you so much! I haven't run into this issue before, and I think I assumed that the scarf would be the same layer as the base. I'll be sure to keep an eye on that going forward to avoid future issues.
