I have a helmet ready to make as a hat for my sim, but sadly i have the wrong version of blender (newest) and it does not work with s4s. I don't have the patience or mental capacity to try to use a really complicated/older vers of blender. I'm autistic, so everything is a lot more hard for me to learn. I have the blender file ready, and i need help with the texture map too. It's not converted into something the game can use, i can't do that either. Can someone walk me through this on discord or do it for me? I can't learn though pics or text, it just confuses me, i need step-by-step stream learning.

Hi. While you can adapt the helmet in the newest version of Blender, you still need a compatible version just to assign cut numbers, which is something s4s uses to recognize what 3d models to import and in what order. So you need to download 2.76 version of Blender as well. - adapt your mesh in the newest version, save the blend, close Blender; - in s4s clone a helmet, export the blend file; - open 2.76, open this blend file you just exported, File - Append - that file from 2.91 - Object - the meshgroup with the helmet; - delete the original meshgroup, add type and a cut number ( should be 0000 in your case) to the appended meshgroup, save, import this file in s4s As for the uv_0 map, you can put uvs everywhere that the helmet excludes or covers ( face, earrings, hat, etc ) using this template as a guide If you have no intention of making more content in the future and just need to adapt this one, you can send a request here, by the way. The purpose of this section of the forum is to help people to figure out what is causing the issue and guide them in fixing it, so we are discouraged from fixing things for others or providing private assistance ( less people with similar issues will be able to find the solution by googling ). So, if you need further assistance, please share your blend and package files first
