Hello, I was just wondering what causes this shadow in CAS. It only happens on some pieces of cc. The shadow is on everything, but the line is usually more blurred so the shadow looks more natural versus a straight line separating the shadowed and unshadowed skin.

Hi. When a mesh is imported in s4s, it is split along uv island borders. Has something to do with the fact that a vertex must not have more than one uv coordinate. When s4s does it, the edges where the mesh is split are not shaded as sharp. But edges that are split manually before import are shaded as sharp like what you are seeing. Anyway, ts4 developer imports a mesh that is not split, the software splits it but does not shade as sharp. Cc creator exports this mesh, which is already split, and imports it back, also as split. Then these edges are shaded as sharp. To fix or avoid it, the body must have all doubles removed.

The pieces were already beautiful, but now that shadow isn't there bothering me. Thank you again.
