I am trying to make a mod that allows you to deflate the pool floats from Island Living. The issue I have is that I don’t know how to make a deflated version and an inflated version. They switch between each other when using a certain interaction.

You can either make a deflated version as a geostate (requires you to clone an object with geostates and kinda re-make the object as a weird override), make it as a new object and then have the interaction do a delete and replace in the outcome or loot, or you can try using object states if you are animating the deflation.

Ok. Thanks for the reply! Which one do you recommend that I do?

If you're animating the object deflating, do method 3 and there's a tutorial here. If you're not animating the object, go with method 2 because I think method 1 might be more tedious. Buuut it really just depends on your experience, etc. No matter what you'll still need an interaction with an outcome or loot that switches the object based on your method. Wait...I just remembered you can try adding geostates manually, but I don't think it works very well. So you can give method 1 a try if you want as an override but I don't believe there is a tutorial (just looked and no luck).
