I'm trying to edit a hair to use on my sim, but I'm having a few problems. I want the bangs to be shorter, to end where the red line is. And there are these 3 pieces of mesh that are making me confused. The bangs are in front of the sims eyes, and it's looking weird in the pictures. So I wanted to make it shorter. How do I properly select this part and edit this?? I just wanted the front part of the bangs to be shorter. I've never edited CAS meshes and I'm completely lost. When I change something on the mesh and save project, I import to Sims 4 Studio nothing changes. This is the blender project file if anyone needs to check it: Blender file.I'm using Blender 2.90. For someone who really knows how to use Blender that question may sound stupid XD But all tutorials I found were outdated. Thanks.

Hi. The tutorials are not outdated in a sense that The Sims 4 Studio does not and will not support 2.8+ versions of Blender. With new ui and features, the system requirements also changed. New versions are a lot more demanding than TS4, meaning people who can play TS4 and want to make cc for it would not be able to do it if s4s were to support new versions only. Also, there is a new version of Blender, like, every month, sometimes multiple per month. S4S developers already have enough work updating it to new patches, which also happen often. Anyway, the reason the file does not get updated is because 3d models in the blend are not recongnized. They have no cut numbers which is a feature that s4s plugin introduces to supported versions of Blender. There are plenty of frankenmeshing tutorials that show how to shorten hair. You should download 2.76, navigate s4s to where it is located for it to plant a plugin, re-start Blender, and work in 2.76. You can work in 2.8+ but will still have to use 2.76 as a bridge. (Instead of opening the file, use Append ).
