hello! i’ve been aware of this issue for a while, but not until recently have i needed to ask about it. i’ve been recoloring EAxis hairs as of late (it happens with custom hairs too), and i’ve ran into an issue with using the cheat studio.importall. Essentially, when you import purely texture files, a bunch of copies (around two or three) of the original mesh (and all hat chops and LODs) also spawn in the package’s warehouse tabs. You cannot delete all mesh files without the package overall breaking. (I believe that the CAS parts are being assigned new meshes that are being imported into the file.)
This is very unhelpful as it creates unnecessarily large package sizes that can’t be reduced easily and in the case of custom hairs can break creators TOUs by including the mesh. I know the studio.importall cheat is mostly experimental, and that I can just put in each texture individually, but it would be greatly beneficial to recolorists like me to get this function working slightly better or to find a fix to it.
oh, and i’m using version 3.1.4.1. thank you!

update: my blender installation broke and it isn’t doing it anymore, so i guess that’s a solution. (but it gives me errors whenever i try to do something which is fine for me personally)
