Does anyone know how to do it? I saw some people on Twitter show some gifs but they didn't mention how they did it.
I am making coloured hair and it would be nice to have the saturation slider working.

I did a lot of experimenting right after the patch came out (I was sent a tool to do it with in exchange for reporting back on what I found, more or less), and while I didn't test every single possible non-makeup type of CC, adding slider values to the types I did try simply didn't do anything -- the sliders just never showed up anywhere outside of the makeup category, and it's my understanding based on what I was told that the CASPart resources for non-makeup items don't actually contain those fields in-game (as opposed to containing them but all the values being empty), and the game just isn't coded to interpret them or to be capable of displaying sliders in parts of CAS that don't already have them. I suppose I don't have enough information 100% rule out making sliders appear on other CC types in the current game version, but I don't believe they're possible.
However, anything that you can recategorize as makeup can have sliders, and one of the first things I tested was recategorizing an old "hair dye" accessory overlay (one meant to be able to cover the full texture of many EA hairs) as a face paint.

I experimented as well and so far can tell that only the makeup category uses the slider menu. I wonder if is coded but disabled for other categories by default and can be enabled by editing tuning files like it happened a couple of years ago with toddler makeup when it was disabled with the patch and Orangemittens edited tuning files (they were overrides) to enable it again.
I saw that video with clothes slider but you can't see what category did he use for it. It could be simply just put in makeup category as well.
Edit. I am reading his replies under the video and looks like he did add it to the clothing category, someone helped him to figure out how to do this. I am intrigued.
