I have found several 3d models that I would like to see if I can get into Sims 4. The ones that I want to try out are in *.obj format, so what would be the next step?
I've got SO MANY ideas for Sims 4 running in my head that I need to create them and get them out...(stuck pretty much at home due to Covid-19)
Suggestions? Help? a dash of Holy Water? (LOL)

Import .obj files into blender (I use 2.70, but I think 2.76 is the upper version limit that works). Decrease the poly count to 2000 or less through decimation, or whatever means you decide, and save .obj file. export a game object of similar size you want - preferably with same function (furniture, food, stereo etc.)- as a blender file. Import your edited .obj file and reduce size to match your game object. Delete game object and save.

1st of all We Simmers Love, Love what you've brought to the game, but since the last patch none of the food is working in the households. We can order it in the restaurants but can no longer cook them in the the home & that's been an issue for weeks now
